वीर्य शुल्काम् मम सुताम् सीताम् सुर सुत उपमाम्। द्वितीयाम् ऊर्मिलाम् चैव त्रि: वदामि न संशय:। ददामि परम प्रीतो वध्वौ ते मुनिपुंगव
Meaning
My daughter Sita, the prize of valor and comparable to a daughter of the gods, and likewise Urmila, my second daughter -- I say this thrice, without doubt, and with great joy I give these brides, O eminent sage.
राम लक्ष्मणयो राजन् गो दानम् कारयस्व ह। पितृ कार्यम् च भद्रम् ते ततो वैवाहिकम् कुरु
Meaning
O king, let the preparatory rites for Rama and Lakshmana be performed, and the rites for the ancestors as well; thereafter, may you conduct the wedding.
मघा हि अद्य महाबाहो तृतीये दिवसे प्रभो। फल्गुण्याम् उत्तरे राजन् तस्मिन् वैवाहिकम् कुरु
Meaning
O mighty-armed lord, today the star is Magha; on the third day from now, when the star is Uttara Phalguni, O king, let the wedding be performed in that time.
राम लक्ष्मणयो: अर्थे दानम् कार्यम् सुखोदयम्
Meaning
For the sake of the wellbeing of Rama and Lakshmana, let the customary gifts be given generously.
