Desiraju Hanumanta Rao's prose rendering with embedded explanatory notes
The source notes a longstanding astrological debate over the wedding date: reading it as falling under pre-Phalguni rather than post-Phalguni stars is unusual, but is defended as correct by the traditional commentator Maheshvara Tirtha, who notes the Moon would be in the twelfth house at that time, making the marriage still auspicious. It cites the Bodhayana Sutra's own list of stars considered best for weddings: rohini, mrigashira, uttara phalguni, and svati.
